Most recently Head of Unified Communications & AI Platforms in IBM's CIO Office, he led UC and AI strategy for 300,000 employees on a $100M budget — consolidating Webex and BlueJeans into Microsoft Teams for $30M+ in annual savings and serving as IBM's "Client Zero" for Microsoft Copilot. Earlier, at IBM Watson Media, he scaled platform revenue from $10M to $50M, drove 10x partner growth through alliances with Samsung, Sony, and AT&T, and secured a five-year AI contract with the U.S. Navy. He holds an MA in Management & Organizational Leadership from National University and is an iNARTE Telecommunications Master Engineer.

Director of Strategic Partnerships & Technical Sales — IBM Watson Media

Rebuilt and scaled IBM's global enterprise-video partner function — growing platform revenue from $10M to $50M with 10x partner growth, co-developing AI solutions with Samsung, AT&T, and Sony, and securing a five-year AI contract with the U.S. Navy.

Delivered AI and enterprise video solutions across defense, federal, and judicial agencies — including the U.S. Navy, NASA, U.S. Army, DHS, CDC, FBI, DOJ, and multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals and state courts (enabling remote proceedings during COVID).

Sales Engineering Manager — IBM Watson Media (Ustream)

Recruited to stabilize Ustream ahead of its IBM acquisition; grew the global sales engineering team from 2 to 15 and built the technical foundation for $30M+ in annual platform revenue. Led special projects with Samsung, Sony, and AT&T FirstNet.

Owned product roadmap plus partnerships and channels (RealNetworks, Roku, Harmonic), and became an industry leader in adaptive-bitrate (ABR) encoding.

Director Video Products / Business Development & Technical Sales -- LSI / Tarari

Led sales engineering, partnerships, and channels for the Tarari Encoding Accelerator (pre-GPU video encoding). Delivered a $10M Netflix engagement and co-developed the accelerator behind Netflix's first streaming platform, drove a ~$350M Cisco engagement, and won Microsoft's 2006 OEM Gold Partner of the Year.

Founder & President — Executive Producer -- River Communications

Founded and led an early live-streaming production and consulting company — producing and directing live and on-demand events and building multi-codec streaming and CDN workflows (Akamai) for clients including the American Bar Association and Discovery.
