I came to DVEO after LSI exited the video business, brought in to design custom video encoding solutions and ultimately to lead the company's product and commercial expansion.

Revenue grew from $12M to $20M in my first year and to $30M across my tenure, driven by a global VAR and distribution network and partner-led go-to-market. I created a new product line that delivered $20M of that — the Multistreamer, Gearbox, Proxicaster and Delay Server families.

Highlights:

Led the RealNetworks partnership, overseeing development and integration across our U.S. and China engineering teams.

Built partner and channel programs with Harmonic, Roku, Geniatech, Dune HD, Amino, Minerva and Beenius, alongside the distribution network through Diversified and Satellite Engineering Group.

Became a recognized voice on Adaptive Bitrate encoding, pioneered HLS delivery into CDNs, and tested HEVC early.

Published five articles in Streaming Media and presented at NAB, Streaming Media East and West, Video Expo, DVExpo, IBC and AFCEA West.

Customers included Sinclair, Fox, Time Warner, Warner Bros., NBC, Comcast, NBCUniversal, BBC, Sky, Service Electric, Petrobras and NASA.
