When LSI exited the video and deep packet inspection business in 2010, I began consulting on video encoding and compression. DVEO's CEO brought me in to design and bring to market a custom solution for a key customer, work that grew into DVEO's Multistreamer, Gearbox, Proxicaster and Delay Server product lines. In 2011 I joined full time as VP, Strategic Partnerships & Product Development, owning product design, roadmap and development alongside partnership and channel growth.

Highlights:

Grew company revenue from $12M to $30M by building a global VAR and distribution network and driving partner led go to market execution.

Built a new product line from nothing to $20M in sales.

Led the RealNetworks partnership, running development and integration across teams in the U.S. and China.

Became an industry leader in Adaptive Bitrate encoding. First to offer push and pull HLS to CDNs and via FTP, quickly adopted by Edgecast, BitGravity and Akamai, and among the first to test HEVC.
